July 23 (Wednesday), Application / Entry Forms mailed with Calendar and welcoming letter.
July 28 (Monday), Follow-up calls or emails to non-responding altaristas & prospective
Altarista exhibitors from mailing list.
ALL EXHIBITING ALTARISTAS MUST ATTEND
ONE OF THE FOLLOWING TWO ORIENTATION MEETINGS:
AUGUST 21 (Thursday), 6:00 p.m. Orientation Meeting #1,
at the Northern Mines Building, Nevada County Fairgrounds, Grass Valley. Orientation, Space assignments, job & docent assignments.
(get key at Fairgrounds office on day of meeting; open building 5:30)

SEPTEMBER 13 (Saturday), 3:00 p.m. Orientation Meeting #2,
at the Northern Mines Building, Nevada County Fairgrounds, Grass Valley. Orientation, Space assignments, job & docent assignments.

SEPTEMBER 13 (Saturday),
50 Word statement about altar, AND Application / Entry Form with all fees due.
October 22 (Wednesday), Taping Spaces at Northern Mines Bldg. Time to be determined: (5 or 6:00 p.m.).
OCTOBER 23, 24, 25, (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) 10 a.m. till 10:00 p.m. each day, Installation of Altars
OCTOBER 25 (Saturday), 6:30 p.m., Altaristas' Ceremony and Blessing of building and Community Altar.
OCTOBER 26 (Sunday) through NOVEMBER 4 (Tuesday), 12 Noon till 8:00 p.m. Show Open to Public.
OCTOBER 26 (Sunday), 4 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Opening Reception for friends, guests and Altaristas.
NOVEMBER 1 (Saturday), 7:00 p.m., All Saint Days Potluck Supper for Altaristas and invited guests.
NOVEMBER 4 (Tuesday), 8 p.m., Closing Ceremony, Takedown follows until 10:00 p.m.
NOVEMBER 5 (Wednesday), Takedown 12 Noon until 7:00 p.m. Please plan to take everything with you, including your trash. Please leave a clean space. Anything left after 7:00 p.m. will be hauled to the dump. |
