The following activities take place at the Nevada County Fairgrounds, |

Opening day | The Altar Show opens to the public for nine days. |
| October 30 (Sunday) 3 PM - 5 PM |
Public Reception | Reception party when visitors may meet Altaristas and enjoy beverages and hors'd'ouevres. |
| November 5 (Saturday) 7 PM |
Potluck supper | Potluck supper for Altaristas and invited guests. |
| November 6 (Sunday) 8 PM |
Closing Ceremony |
Closing ceremony at show's end followed by takedown until 10 PM. |
| November 7 (Monday) 12 PM - 7 PM |
Takedown | Removal of altars. All items and trash must be removed and the building left clean by 7 PM. |
