Dancers and Flyers

Flying in my dreams has always been one of my best experiences in life. I still do it, and I have had some great trips. Many of my pictures are made from a viewpoint high in the sky.
 
I always loved dancing too, but alas that can now happen only in my dreams. Red Floor Dancer is a fantasy of me dancing in my house after my hip replacement. You can see the neat little hip apparatus - also my snake symbols.
 
Four Dancers was made in a moment of great exuberance when PG&E fell before little old Nevada County in the Trauner Fire criminal charges case. Those of us who had burned were ecstatic.
 
Green Man was another myth I personalized. In England the Green Man is pretty scary. Mine is full of testosterone and rather unmanageable, but also irresistible as a partner: dancing, flying, or whatever. I worked on trying to make this painting for ten years and finally managed it when I got into digital painting.
